- Minimum 2 years experiences at 4-5 stars hotel in similar position / Corporate Office
- Excellent Leadership skills with proven coaching and mentoring capabilities
- Able to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Management experience required
- Fluent written & spoken English
- Computer literacy
Duties and Responsibilies:
- Ensure that all managed hotel is fully understand the business strategy and positioning of The Discovery Hotels & Resorts brand , and that you are able to effectively articulate this positioning in the marketplace.
- Approach personal sales activities from a strategic perspective, understanding the relative importance and priority of the current account base and directing personal sales efforts accordingly.
- Focus on assertively establishing new client contacts and developing detailed information on the potential revenues from these accounts.
- Achieve personal financial and non-financial performance objectives, working with department leadership from all managed hotel to ensure these objectives are met.
- Take responsibility for your own professional development, ensuring that you have the financial literacy, negotiation and face-to-face selling skills needed to successfully do your job.
- Maintain accurate management status reporting on business results, and associated action planning.
- Actively participate in client familiarization trips, site inspections, sales trips and roadshows as required to meet the sales targets of the hotel.
- Drive opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Discovery products
- Prospect, qualify and maintain both new accounts and existing accounts, to help ensure current and future use of Discovery Hotels and generating the said accounts to become National Key Accounts
- Generate MICE leads, principally for the properties within Discovery Hotels and Resorts from said accounts. Help to move the process of leads to confirmed business with emphasis on need periods and need hotels
- Direct sales effort: Personal sales calls, site visits with client when appropriate, sales blitzes, 24 hour responses to leads, increase awareness of Discovery Hotels & Resorts
- Do market analysis and propose goals and targets to increase production. Needs to define for each Account
