General Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experiences at 4-5 stars hotel in similar position
  • Excellent Leadership skills with proven coaching and mentoring capabilities
  • Able to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Management experience required
  • Fluent written & spoken English
  • Computer literacy

Duties and Responsibilies:

  • Manage entire Public Relations department and implement high standard of public relations’ activities in achieving its goals and objectives
  • Create new business awareness through all media available, strengthen the image of the hotel in the market and work together with both local and international media for exposures
  • Develop and maintain good media contacts and supervise implementation of all press related activities
  • Generate media publicity on the hotel and corporate activities through dissemination of media releases, general media relations, in-house promotions, and in-house functions
  • Prepare and submit advertising and media campaigns to actively promote the property to Director of Sales & Marketing
  • Deal with guest and general public’s complaints and inquiries positively and promptly under the guidance of the Director Sales & Marketing
  • Provide other departments with relevant information on activities that may be useful when dealing with guests
  • Liaise with the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop Public Relation programs and strategies based on marketing goals, targeting specific markets to reach these goals
  • Liaise with Director of Sales & Marketing to plan, execute and promote outlet promotions in community functions
  • Identify special events for sponsorship or co-sponsorship for the hotel to receive quality publicity and ultimately generate business from the media
  • Initiate, create and develop a way to measure and evaluate the success of Public Relations activities
  • Plan and evaluate training programs for the Public Relations department as well as attending and participating in training sessions as scheduled
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by immediate supervisor or Management.
  • Implements other tasks as assigned by Director of Sales & Marketing
  • Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled.
  • Follows all hotel fire and safety procedures
  • Obeys all hotel rules and regulations.
  • Establishes and maintains effective staff relations
